HCG Africa is a joint venture between CDC and Indian healthcare provider, HealthCare Global Enterprises. The new venture will focus on providing affordable and accessible cancer treatment in key African countries in partnership with local clinicians, hospitals and health systems. The plan is to develop a pan-African healthcare company bringing world-class care to patients across the continent while training hundreds of local clinicians to provide that care. Bangalore-based HealthCare Global Enterprises is the largest cancer care provider in India with 17 chemotherapy, radiotherapy and surgical oncology centres.
