The Innovation Village is a destination entrepreneur’s call home. Our idea is simple, everybody who has an idea that could transform society should be given the opportunity to do so. Setting out in mid-2015, our motivation came from watching multiple innovation competitions and award ceremonies that focus on the top 3 winners out of 100 submissions. In trying to answer what happens to the 97 ventures, we built The Innovation Village to be a destination they call home. Today we have converged over 2,000 entrepreneurs 40% of these young women across six sector labs. Our standard solution offering across the Labs is access to Capital, Capacity, Networks, Insights on Sector trends, Market opportunities and influencing policy. We have created the largest destination of entrepreneurs in the country by bringing together key players—from startups and global brands, to government agencies, academic institutions, tech incubators and accelerators—to create an entrepreneurial density like no other. Resultantly we have created the same destination for investors, corporate, academia and global partners like Andela, Challenges Worldwide, EnVentures and FinAfrica who are happily collocating with our budging startup entrepreneurs.
